| Description | Two Egyptian American projects involving $ 170 million investments licensed recently by GAFI – General Authority for Investment, to produce pharmaceuticals at Qaft Industrial Zone in Qena Governorate. Both projects would operate as private free zone entities. The first, involving $ 80 million estimated investments, will produce insulin & human hormones for diabetics patients with 75 % of the output for export abroad. As to the second project, involving $ 90 million investments, it will produce medicines for the treatment of cancer, blood pressure & shortage of hormones by male & female with 90 % of the output for export to American & European markets. |
