| Description | Universal Co. for Pipes Manufacturing, affiliated to Al Kharafi Group of Kuwait, said it expects a $ 75 million order soon to supply pipes for phase two of the Pan Arab natural gas project involving $ 300 million investments. The new pipeline extenders from Aqaba City till a location, 16 Km for the Syrian boarders. Main contractor for this phase is an Egyptian consortium grouping E-Gas, Gasco, Petrojet & Enppi . The project first phase, extending from El Arish ( in Egypt ) to Aqaba ( in Jordan ) was completed & inaugurated in July 2003 under $ 230 million investments . |
