| Description | According to Dr. Eng. Mahmoud Abu Zeid, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, a UAE based company has expressed interest to buy out 100,000 feddans land along Toshki Canal third branch. Meanwhile, Dr. Eng. Abu Zeid revealed that measures are initiated to formally take receipt of Moubarak giant pumping station in Toshki from the International consortium, by the concerned agencies at the Ministry. He said agreement was further reached with the consortium to maintain its ( operation & maintenance ) experts during the project guarantee period ( one year ) with another, still to conclude, to keep those experts for another additional consecutive year, while training Egyptian staff in both Egypt & Japan, now ongoing. |
