Sameh Fahmy, the Holding Co. for Natural Gas is sponsoring the drilling of 26 exploratory wells during FY 2004/ 2005 to add 4 trillion cubic feet to the country confirmed reserves of natural gas, now put at 62 trillion. He further revealed that the company has signed recently two concession agreements with Kuwaiti & Italian companies for the exploration & exploitation of natural gas in the Mediterranean deep water. |
