| Description | Request for prequalification applications from international eligible applicants/ contractors/ manufacturers regarding the transmission line package of Cairo/ Alexandria transmission system project going under funding from JBIC - Japan Bank for International Cooperation. Project will consist of two packages : (a) 500 kV gas insulated substation & (b) 500 kV transmission line. Applicant can be a sole entity, a lead-partner of a joint venture or a consortium. Scope of work includes, but not limited to, design, fabrication, furnishing, delivery & construction of 500 kV transmission line including the single circuit line [ steel towers, conductors, ground wires including OPGW, insulator strings & fillings, etc., also civil works. Documents for the package will be available from EETC Offices against payment receipt of $ 1,000 to be effected at National Bank of Egypt, Nasr City Branch, Cairo, to account No. 1001007171.
