| Description | Alexandria Port Authority is promoting a new 14 meters deep & 315 meters long dock equipped with a huge grain silo among public & private grains importers. According to Mr. Mohamed Yousef, Chairman of the Port Authority, the dock, the deepest in the port, was built under L.E. 40 million investments (about $ 6.5 million). It could receive vessels of up to 80,000 tons capacity. Meanwhile, the Port Authority is planning for another new 90 meters long dock, 10 meters deep, to go under L.E. 10 – 15 million estimated investments. |
