| Description | Giant Petronas Group of Malaysia has recently announced it would invest in Egypt petroleum sector some $ 2 billion over the next stage. On his side, Egypt Minister of Petroleum, Eng. Sameh Fahmy said the sector is now evaluating the formation of a joint venture grouping Petronas & recently established Sarwa Co. for the exploration of oil in the Middle East. The sector is also evaluating, with Petronas, the building of two new gas liquefying projects on Egypt Mediterranean costs, on top of the 3 liquefying lines now under construction in both Edkou & Damietta |
