| Description | According to General Maged George, head of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, a new 2.8 million tons/ annum cement mill project is planned by the Authority in North Sinai, to be extended later on to 5.6 million/ tons per annum. Project specifications are now prepared, with construction works scheduled to start in 6 to 8 month's time, for completion in two years. Meanwhile & according to General George, studies are also prepared by the Authority to build another factory to exploit Sinai glass sand & silica sand resources. |
