| Description | GASC – General Authority for Supply Commodities is said to have placed an order to import 120,000 tons of Australian white hard wheat at $ 162.5 per ton FOB. Wheat is scheduled for arrival during the next half of June 2004. GASC Deputy Chairman, Mr. Mahmoud Abdel Hamid, said the shipment would be used to produce 72 % extraction wheat used to produce popular macaroni & fino bread. |
