| Description | During the ITU Telecom Africa 2004 trade fair, held recently in Cairo, it was formally announced that Egypt information technology & communication industry is now growing annually by 31 – 34 %. The industry is now hosting 1,187 companies, up from 266 companies in 1999. Earlier media reports have indicated that industry exports in 2003 are said to range $ 100 – 150 million. |
