| Description | Highly reputed Fermont International Hotels Chain has recently announced that it would invest $ 10 million in a project to build Fermont managed hotel in Cairo, as part of the Nile City Complex on the famous Nile Cornich. It said the hotel is scheduled for inauguration by March 2006. In the mean time, KGI – Kingdom Group for Investment, Chaired by Prince El Walid Ibn Talal, has also announced that it would invest further $ 10 million in the project. Scheme provides for building a third tower at the Nile City Complex, owned by an Orascom/ Shobokshi venture, now hosting two 34 floor towers. Hotel would have 552 rooms capacity among other commercial & recreational areas. Estimated project costs are put at $ 100 million. |
